EpicTable chat allows the GM and players to exchange text messages and roll dice. Unlike a general purpose IM tool, EpicTable's chat is built for gaming. It supports taking on the persona of any character you can control, so you can speak as that character or make it clear which character is making a roll. It supports "whispering" to one or more other participants, so you easily handle conversations between the GM and one or more players. You can add tone of voice, speak out of character, or even turn off chat broadcasting completely to insert notes to yourself or make secret rolls in the chat window.
